Hey, I'm Mark

I grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan, surrounded by inventors, builders, and people who believed that if something didn’t exist, you just sketched it, built it, tested it, and tried again. That mindset shaped me. Creating isn’t just something I do, it’s how I think.

Woodworking is where my passion lives. I build pieces meant to be lived with, not just looked at. In my own home, the Alder and Walnut dining table I built doubles as our board-game and tabletop role-play game table. It has seen family meals, spilled snacks, loud laughter, rolled dice, and countless journeys. My children’s first dreams began in a Sapele crib I built, and whenever they imagine something new, we sketch it out together, then it's my job to bring it to life for them. My goal is to design and build furniture and accessories that can withstand every adventure that comes our way.

Before woodworking, I spent years working with concrete. It taught me about patience, precision, and building a solid foundation - lessons that strangely carried over into baking. Whether I’m shaping cookies and dough or carving wood, I love creating something with my hands that becomes a part of someone’s everyday life.

When I’m not in the shop, I’m with my wife and kids - exploring, playing, and turning ordinary moments into memories. Every now and then, our friends gather around that same handmade table for a night of RPG storytelling, where imagination leads the way.

Craftsmanship is personal to me. Every piece I build carries intention and a story.
